Food Journal - Intro

Timed nicely to fall between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and on the back of the Physical Fitness 21 day challenge, i'm going on a diet.  In my mind, it's the next logical step in reaching my "Body" goals.

I plan to take a picture of every meal that i eat over the next 21 days and post them at the end of the day.


I'm getting my dieting advice primarily from The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson and The Slow Carb Diet by Tim Ferriss but technically i'll not be following either one.

The 5 Basic Rules:
  1. Eat breakfast and drink a pint of water within 30 minutes of waking up.
  2. 3 meals per day with snacks/protein/green juice in between meals as needed.
  3. Severely limit processed foods.  The closer to nature the better.
  4. Don't drink calories. (one or two glasses of red wine per day permitted)
  5. One cheat day per week where anything goes. I choose Saturday. (Fatterday)
I'll supplement with a multi-vitamin, fish oil, ZMA, and hemp protein.

I currently weigh around 184 and hope to lose around 10 pounds in the next three weeks.
